Dr. Shivangi Amin is a highly experienced and accomplished periodontal treatment and oral implantology specialist with a decade of experience in the dental field. She graduated from an island dental school in Mauritius before continuing her postgraduate education program in Periodontics and Implant Dentistry at NYU College of Dentistry and received a Master’s in Biomaterials from NYU as well. During her career she has traveled and lived around the world - India, Mauritius, North Carolina, California, and most recently in Richmond Virginia. With a wealth of expertise and dedication to providing high-quality, personalized care, Dr. Amin is dedicated to helping her patients feel confident and happy with their smiles.

Dedicated to furthering her education and keeping up with current developments in the dental field, Dr. Amin has become a Diplomat of the American Academy of Periodontology. She is a member of the American Dental Society, Virginia Dental Association, and Richmond Dental Association, and also board certified in Periodontics and Implant Dentistry and Esthetic Dentistry and Laser Dentistry.

When she is not busy, Dr. Amin loves to stay active by exercising, going on hikes, and playing tennis. She also delights in discovering new places by traveling and exploring various cuisine. As a self-proclaimed food enthusiast, she welcomes any tips and suggestions of places to try out. Aside from her recreational activities, Dr. Amin also dedicates time to teaching as Adjunct Faculty in the Periodontics Department at VCU College of Dentistry.
